The Rostock Tram AG (RSAG) intends to create a digital user interface that, in the first step, provides employees in the driving, workshop and commercial services with better information and communication options. Unlike employees who mainly perform their duties at a desk, a mobile and comfortable solution is required for the named employees. Therefore, a product solution for mobile devices with Android operating systems (plus desktop version) is to be implemented. The software is to network the employees with each other. It is to be enabled for all to access information independently of location through the mobile software solution. The aim of the introduction is for all RSAG employees to have unrestricted access to all company information and to use all available self-services. Standard interfaces to other programs are also to be integrated. In the pilot phase, the mobile application is to be used first by employees in the driving service, the workshops and the external service, who make up a large part of the workforce at RSAG. With the go-live, the mobile application, as well as the desktop version, should be available to all RSAG employees via Microsoft Intune (mobile application) or via browser access (desktop version). The desktop version is to serve to replace the existing intranet system.
