Content of the Tender

The contract concerns the provision of accounting services for the University of Maastricht. The scope of this contract for accounting services for UM includes the following components:

A: Annual audit and certification of the UM annual accounts;

B: Annual audit and certification of the annual accounts of the UM Holding BV, a related party to be consolidated;

C: Annual audit and certification of the costing data submission;

D: Annual performance of agreed specific tasks resulting in a report of actual findings regarding the integral cost pricing system (IKS);

E: Annual performance of the compliance engagement regarding the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP).

Objective and intended result of the Tender

The objective of this call for tenders is to conclude an agreement for accounting services with one party for a period of 4 years with the possibility of extension for 3 times 1 year. The maximum contract duration is therefore 7 years. The agreement will commence on 1 July 2027 and will end, subject to extension, on 30 June 2031.
