Austria – Industrial process control equipment and remote-control equipment – Rahmenvereinbarung über die Lieferung von Kleinfernwirkgeräten

The scope of the services being tendered is a framework agreement for the supply of up to 50,000 miniature remote control devices. The miniature remote control devices must have at least IP 53 protection class and be mountable on a standard meter plate. In addition to the mandatory three-point mounting on a standard meter plate, the miniature remote control devices should optionally have the possibility of mounting on a DIN rail. The maximum size dimensions of the miniature remote control device are defined in DIN 43857. The miniature remote control devices must be able to communicate with the central SCADA system of the contracting authority via LoRaWAN (Class C) and be able to switch at least 4 bistable, potential-free relays with changeover contacts for 230VAC/16A. In addition to the mandatory communication via LoRaWAN, the miniature remote control devices should optionally also be able to communicate with the central SCADA system of the contracting authority via mobile internet (e.g. LTE, 5G). The initial delivery from the framework agreement will comprise 20,000 miniature remote control devices. A separate spare parts delivery for the miniature remote control devices is not planned, as these will be replaced in the event of a failure. The installation of the miniature remote control devices on site is not part of the tendered services.
