External translation services

The contracting authority intends to award a framework agreement for the provision of external translation services. The framework agreement will have a duration of 4 years, with the possibility of extension for an additional 2 years. The estimated total value of the framework agreement is EUR 2,500,000.

The framework agreement will cover the following language combinations:

- English <-> French

- English <-> German

- English <-> Italian

- English <-> Spanish

- English <-> Dutch

- English <-> Polish

- English <-> Romanian

- English <-> Bulgarian

The services will include:

- Translation of documents

- Revision of translations

- Desktop publishing (DTP)

- Terminology management

The contracting authority reserves the right to amend the language combinations and the services to be provided under the framework agreement, if necessary.

The award criteria will be as follows:

- Technical capacity: 40%

- Financial capacity: 20%

- Quality of the services: 30%

- Price: 10%

Interested economic operators are invited to submit their tenders by 15.00 (local time) on 15/10/2024. Tenders must be submitted electronically via the eTendering platform.

Tenders will be evaluated by a committee composed of representatives from the contracting authority and external experts. The evaluation process will take into account the award criteria mentioned above.

The contracting authority reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, to cancel the procurement procedure, or to accept any tender that does not meet the minimum requirements.

The contracting authority will not be liable for any costs incurred by economic operators in preparing and submitting their tenders.
