Switzerland – Airport buildings construction work – BKP 225.4 Brandabschottungen

Zurich Airport Ltd is constructing a building between Parking Garage 1 and 2, which will be used as a «Foodhall» and connect the landside passenger areas. As part of this new construction, adjacent existing areas in the vicinity of Parking Garages 1 and 2 will also be redesigned. The present tender includes the execution of all fire compartmentation in the new construction and in the existing structure. The contractor's scope of work includes the proper supply and installation of all required compartmentation systems for pipe, cable and duct penetrations through fire-resisting walls and ceilings within the project. The work must be carried out in accordance with the applicable fire protection regulations, manufacturer approvals and project-specific requirements. The scope of work also includes the marking of all fire compartmentation and the complete documentation of the work carried out. The documentation must be prepared in accordance with the specifications of Zurich Airport Ltd (FZAG) and must contain all necessary certificates, approvals, installation documentation, photographic documentation and inspection records.
