Section 130a Paragraph 8 SGB V enables health insurance funds and pharmaceutical companies to conclude framework discount contracts for medicines to be dispensed at the expense of the statutory health insurance funds. With regard to the relevant legal provisions for the award of public contracts, a regular process of substance-related, formal award procedures according to the regulations of Part 4 of the GWB is carried out by DAK-Gesundheit. For medicines to be specified by the bidder in more detail in Annex 2 to the contract for the above-mentioned substance Tolvaptan (exclusively strength 7.5 mg in the standard size N2), ATC C03XA01, DAK-Gesundheit intends to conclude medicine discount contracts with as many interested pharmaceutical companies as possible until the entry into force of new medicine discount contracts. A discount contract under the authorisation model for the above-mentioned substance will come into force for the first time on 01.07.2026 and will end on 30.06.2028 (plus extension option 1x12 months). It ends automatically with the entry into force of the exclusive contract, regardless.
