ABS/NBS KaBa, PfA 9.2, VP I-07.2 Construction Services Bph 9

The contract package VP I-07.2 includes the construction services for the line upgrade in the planning approval section (PfA) 9.2 of the Karlsruhe–Basel upgrade and new line between Haltingen and Weil am Rhein. The subject matter is the completion of the track and traffic facilities for the implementation of the six-track upgrade at Haltingen station and the completion of the track facilities upgrade at Weil am Rhein station. The services are divided into two lots:

- Lot 1 - Main Construction Services: Track, earthworks and cable trench construction works of approx. 1500 m, creation of drainage systems, installation of 4 points, dismantling of existing railway and civil engineering structures (including platforms, subways and temporary platform at Haltingen and dismantling of platform 04 at Weil am Rhein station), equipping of platform Haltingen West, installation of 140 m concrete road trough, erection and completion of approx. 4200 m noise barriers, completion of a signal gantry, renovation of bridge structures, works on control and safety technology including signal foundations, as well as new construction of escape routes and conversion of protective contact.

- Lot 2 - Landscape Management Measures: Implementation of the landscape management implementation plan including recultivation of temporarily used areas.

The construction work will be carried out while maintaining railway operations and, due to operational boundary conditions and spatial conditions, is divided into several sub-phases (construction phases 9.1 to 9.4). A temporal bundling of the individual construction phases is only possible to a limited extent.
