Technical assistance, control and supervision of the works included in the Project "Wastewater Pumping Station of San Blas and Impulsion to the Comarcal Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Valley of Güímar. T.M. of Candelaria and Arafo. REFERENCE: TF-604-8". The complete renovation of the Wastewater Pumping Station of San Blas is planned, with the construction of a new building that occupies the surface of the current Wastewater Pumping Station and the adjacent plot situated on the North side, to allow the expansion of the existing facilities.

The main elements planned for the New Wastewater Pumping Station of San Blas are described below:

1) Execution of a micropile wall for excavations in the area of the Wastewater Pumping Station.

2) Reorganization-connection of collectors for new Wastewater Pumping Station entrance and relief entrance.

3) Relief collector to the sea and outlets by means of impulsion.

4) Structure of the new Wastewater Pumping Station.

5) Screening channel and coarse material well.

6) Suction tank.

7) Pumping equipment.

8) Connection to impulsion conduit.

9) Drainage pump.

10) Electricity and generator set.

11) Deodorization.

12) Measurement and telecontrol

13) Demolitions and complementary works.

The impulsion to the Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Valley of Güímar is planned by means of a ductile cast iron conduit with a diameter of Ø400mm. The total length of the impulsion from the Wastewater Pumping Station to the Comarcal Wastewater Treatment Plant is 2,454 meters and overcomes a height difference of approximately 86m. The section coinciding with the scope of the remodeling of the Plaza de la Basílica will not be executed in this project.
