France – Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Mise en sécurité des Galeries Nobles - Sorbonne 2026

The present project concerns the securing of the Sorbonne site, located in the heart of the 5th arrondissement of Paris. It focuses on eight noble galleries and two staircases that are located on major circulation and evacuation axes, situated on the ground floor of each sector. Additionally, it includes the installation of a cafeteria and two toilet blocks, including PMR toilets. The objective of the works is to secure these spaces while respecting the safety orientations in terms of fire safety of the master plan updated in 2018 and validated by the Préfecture de Police. The project takes a cross-disciplinary approach, respecting regulatory fire safety standards and integrating potential devices (smoke extraction, ventilation, fire doors, fire detection, etc.) while considering the heritage and architectural value of the spaces.
