The project involves the complete renewal of signalling and safety technology, 50 Hz electrical power systems, and extensive cable laying works. Furthermore, the measure includes the supervision of the renewal of points W10 and W54, the renewal of track 50, the construction of new operational buildings and substations, as well as the integration and adaptation of existing interlocking and traffic management systems. The implementation will take place under ongoing railway operations in several construction phases with several commissioning and software changeover states on lines 6153, 6345 and 6206 and at Guben station. This includes basic services (Annex 01.01), railway operational services (Annex 01.02), construction supervision services (Annex 01.03), waste management (Annex 01.07) and environmental specialist BÜW (Annex 01.11).
