Description

The contract concerns the establishment and execution of a collective insurance arrangement, offering a collective health insurance “world” (CZW) for a specific target group, namely those who fall under article 25a of the Scheme for Defence Personnel Abroad (VBD). This concerns:

a. Family members living with a defence official placed abroad by the Contracting Authority, not in one of the Ordinance Countries, and residing there;

b. Family members living with a defence official placed at a diplomatic post by the Contracting Authority and residing there;

c. A civilian defence official placed abroad by the Contracting Authority and residing there;

d. The family members mentioned under a. and b. up to three (3) months after the death of the defence official.

An income limit applies: the family member living with a defence official placed abroad (not in Ordinance Countries) with the minister's approval may join the CZW, unless the family member:

a. works outside the Netherlands and the income from this work exceeds the amount mentioned in article 8.14a, first paragraph, part a, of the Income Tax Act 2001; or

b. receives a benefit under a foreign legal regulation on social security.
