Description

The state capital of Erfurt (hereinafter: "granting authority") is implementing its largest urban development project to date. By 2028, numerous construction measures, particularly in the southeast of Erfurt, will make the area more livable: social facilities, sports and leisure areas, green spaces, streets and paths will be rebuilt to be future-proof. In particular, as a pilot project, uniform and visible mobility stations in the public space will be created at several locations. As part of this pilot project, the granting authority intends to award concession contracts for the construction and operation of charging infrastructure (Lot 1) and the establishment and operation of a car-sharing offer (Lot 2). The granting authority has submitted an application for funding under the "Model Projects for the Further Development of Urban Development Assistance" funding programme and has received preliminary approval. Similarly, the granting authority has submitted an application for a grant from the Free State of Thuringia from the Thuringian state budget, individual plan 10, chapter 1004, item 8834 for the financing of an infrastructure project "Model Projects for the Further Development of Urban Development Assistance - Erfurt Southeast" - field of action/project 6 "Mobility Stations" and has received preliminary approval.
