Germany – Architectural, engineering and planning services – Ingenieurleistung für Tragwerksplanung nach §§ 49 ff. HOAI für das Projekt „Sanierung Sporthalle der Beruflichen Schule Mühlacker“

The sports hall, which was built in 1984, belongs to the Beruflichen Schule Mühlacker and is located in the second row of the Kerschensteinerstraße. It is used for school sports and various club sports. Between the street and the sports hall stands the Haumeisterwohnhaus, which was also built in 1984. Next to the hall is an associated outdoor sports field, which is currently used as a parking lot. Under the outdoor sports field is a stormwater retention basin of the city of Mühlacker, which cannot be driven over with heavy loads. The remaining two sides are bordered by an industrial hall and the railway line. The main component of the sports hall renovation is, in particular, the renewal of the leaky hall roof (shed roof construction). For the new sports hall roof, a light construction made of sustainable building materials is to be taken into account. The static investigation has shown that, with the assumed loads and the structural design of the roof structure, no reserves are available. The uses and load assumptions are exhausted. Load increases or additional loads must not be applied to the roof. Furthermore, the renovation of the flat roof for the technical building and social tract, including the skylights, is planned. Further interventions in the building structure (e.g. external, internal wall cladding, hall floor) are correspondingly necessary. The engineering services in question are the structural design according to §§ 49 ff. HOAI 2021. The contract is awarded in stages, initially with the performance phases 1 to 3 HOAI. There is no legal claim to the further awarding of the respective subsequent performance stage, and the client reserves the right to have individual services within a performance stage carried out by themselves or by third parties. An application for the expression of interest in the federal program "Sanierung kommunaler Sportstätten" has been submitted. A decision on the funding is still pending.
