The contract involves conducting an inventory of the European beaver Castor fiber and the Eurasian otter Lutra lutra in the Dolnośląskie Voivodeship and preparing a report (documentation) of this inventory, in particular: 1) analysis of available source materials and archival data, including data provided by the Contracting Authority, originating from the documentation of protection plans and protection task plans for Natura 2000 areas and other natural inventory works and surveys, 2) development of the methodology for conducting field research, 3) carrying out field inventory in two research seasons, 4) assessment of the distribution and population size of both species, 5) assessment of the quality and condition of habitats, 6) identification of ecological corridors, 7) identification of threats and conflicts related to the occurrence of the species, 8) assessment of the significance of the European beaver's activity for water retention, including the impact of dams and beaver ponds on local water relations, 9) development of spatial analyses in the GIS environment, 10) preparation of an interim report and a final report with photographic documentation and databases. 2. The subject of the contract is described in Annex 1 to the specification. 3. The Contracting Authority foresees the need to transfer intellectual property rights to the completed subject of the contract. A detailed description of the contractual terms is set out in the draft contract constituting Annex 2 to the specification. 4. The Contracting Authority does not specify the activities, within the scope of the contract, requiring the Contractor or subcontractor to employ persons on the basis of an employment relationship as defined in Article 22(1) of the Labour Code of 26 June 1974.
