GIZ - Representation at Reichpietschufer 20, 10785 Berlin. This is a listed building with five storeys, a basement (fully underground, except for the courtyard atrium) and an underground car park. The building was constructed in 1913 and, as part of a renovation and conversion for GIZ's use, was completely gutted, rebuilt and supplemented with an atrium as a courtyard roofing during 1999-2001 by the office of Rüthnick Architekten, Berlin. The attic and parts of the 4th floor received an additional conference area after a conversion in 2008/09. During this process, the roof structure towards Potsdamer Platz was architecturally redesigned to meet the new requirements (office a-base architecture, Berlin). The house's unique feature is a combination of office and event building. The entire ground floor (approx. 380 m2, 6 rooms) and the 5th floor (approx. 270 m2, 5 rooms) are exclusively available for events, conferences, meetings, etc. with their representative areas, while office space for approximately 80 employees is located on the 1st to 4th floors.
