The subject of the contract is comprehensive care for stray animals, including trapping, trapping of free-living cats, and wild animals from the area of the City of Suwałki, in the years 2027-2028. 2. Within the subject of the contract: 1) taking over the care of stray animals belonging to the City of Suwałki, present as of 31.12.2026 in the Sianożęć Shelter, and providing care for stray animals trapped from the area of Suwałki in 2027 and 2028, 2) trapping stray animals, free-living cats, farm animals, and wild animals, including game and protected animals, from the area of the City of Suwałki in the years 2027-2028. 3. The detailed description of the subject of the contract is contained in the "Description of the Subject of the Contract" (Annex No. 2) and the "Essential Provisions of the Contract" (Annex No. 7). 4. The subject of the contract shall be implemented in accordance with: 1) the Act of 21 August 1997 on the protection of animals (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1580, as amended), 2) the Act of 21 November 2025 on animal health (Journal of Laws of 2025, item 1795), 3) the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of 7 February 2026 on the minimum conditions for keeping dogs and cats in an animal shelter (Journal of Laws of 2026, item 154). 5. The contractor must have a legal title to the shelter where they will provide the service mentioned in point 2.1. 6. The contractor is obliged to ensure the necessary staff with the appropriate qualifications to carry out the subject of the contract. The contractor is obliged to submit the above staff for acceptance to the Contracting Authority.
