The North German Broadcasting (NDR) is the broadcasting corporation for the northern German states of Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein. As a public corporation, the NDR is bound by the relevant budgetary and procurement guidelines. Due to current developments in public broadcasting, the NDR aims to limit its real estate portfolio to operationally necessary buildings. As a result of operational changes due to the introduction of a multimedia program and offer strategy with changed requirements and work structures (cross-media, digitalisation, transition to desk-sharing, etc.), it has been decided that an adjustment of the real estate portfolio is necessary and sensible. A number of properties at various locations have been selected from the portfolio for imminent sale. At Rothenbaum in Hamburg, the properties Oberstraße 128 and 130/132 and, in further steps, optionally up to 5 buildings with a gross floor area between 500 m2 and 4,500 m2 (a total of approximately 9,300 m2) are to be sold. The framework conditions of the NDR as a public corporation must be taken into account at all times in the upcoming sales processes/procedures. The NDR intends to commission one or more service providers and to conduct one or more structured tendering procedures to sell the properties. For this purpose, qualified sales consulting/brokerage companies are being sought that will take over all services related to the preparation, market approach, marketing, communication with interested parties and the accompaniment of the sales process up to the completion of the transfer of ownership. The services to be awarded must be carried out in such a way that the sales process is carried out in a targeted, professional, transparent and successful manner.
