Germany – Roof-covering work – Grundschule Wagenstadt - Dachdeckung, Dachabdichtung und Klempnerarbeiten

The subject of the tender is roofing, roof waterproofing and sheet metal works for the renovation and extension of the Grundschule Wagenstadt in Herbolzheim. The services include dismantling and demolition works on existing roof structures, the production of standing seam roofs and sandwich roof coverings, roof drainage works, flat roof waterproofing including green roofing, as well as the supply and installation of roof securing systems. Execution planned in week 29 - week 40. The Grundschule Wagenstadt was built in the 1960s as a three-storey school building without a basement. In 1998, a single-storey extension was added to the west of the main building; in addition, renovations have already been carried out in the existing structure. As part of a comprehensive renovation and extension, the school will be modernised over a period of around one and a half years. The existing building will receive an additional attic floor with a gable roof and a full-area thermal insulation composite system with a prefabricated facade. For this purpose, the building will be gutted down to the shell and then fundamentally renovated. In addition, a new building made of reinforced concrete will be built to the south and a new staircase to the north of the existing building, which serves as a second structural escape route and enables access to the new attic floor. In addition, an elevator will be installed, which provides access to all floors from the ground floor to the 2nd floor. Both extensions will be built on pile foundations without a basement. During the construction work, the subsidence safety of the existing building must be ensured, particularly when creating the construction pits located to the south and east and the construction measures.
