Germany – Damage or loss insurance services – DVA Waggon Schienenfahrzeug Assurance (WSA) DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH

The subject of the procurement is an all-risk insurance for freight wagons, which the contracting authority has leased from companies outside the DB Group. These are mainly flat and closed freight wagons. The contracting authority is DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH. As a 100% subsidiary of DB InfraGO AG, it provides services for railway infrastructure and construction site logistics within the DB Group and uses the aforementioned leased wagons for this purpose. The total insurance sum amounts to approximately 171,68 million EUR. Currently, 1,438 wagons make up this value. The wagons are insured for their new value. The contract includes a deductible of 10,000 EUR and a liability limit of 5 million EUR per insurance event.
