Description

The subject of the order is the implementation of the concept and permanent exhibition entitled "The Tower of Secrets" in the building of the tenement house (Visitors Center) and in the castle tower at the castle in Muszyna. 1) Purpose of the competition The purpose of the competition is to select the best proposal for a multimedia presentation to be used for the permanent exhibition, which will be characterized by the highest artistic values, attractiveness and creativity. The execution of the entire exhibition in accordance with the abilities presented in the Competition Work and the solutions proposed by the Competition Participants should lead to the creation of an exceptional and attractive place, encouraging people from various groups to visit the exhibition. 2) Investment objectives: The main objective of the task is to create an exceptional exhibition presenting the history and legends accompanying the region and the Castle in Muszyna itself. The task is also to revitalize tourism by increasing cultural, educational and recreational functions. As a result of the implementation of the task, a functional, aesthetically and artistically valuable permanent exhibition will be created, attractive to tourists, widely influencing the environment and causing a significant increase in activity (social, cultural, economic) in the environment. The exhibition is to attract attention and be an important, recognizable and socially accepted place. 3) Subject of the competition The subject of the Competition is the presentation of the concept of the implementation of the permanent exhibition, in order to enable the achievement of the objectives specified above. Competition Participants should take into account the above objectives, the manner of preparing the Competition Work and the criteria for evaluating the Competition Works specified in the Competition Regulations. The Competition Organizer requires that the Competition Works be executed with the technical documentation of the entire exhibition and the guidelines and requirements regarding individual stations mentioned therein. 4) The Organizer indicates that the technical documentation of the exhibition binds the Competition Participants in the scope of: a) the tour route, including the division of the exhibition into spaces, stations, b) the number, type of content or artifacts presented in individual spaces and stations, c) the number, types and types and location of elements, including scenographic ones, d) the number, types and types of AV/IT devices (multimedia). 5) The technical documentation does not bind the Competition Participants in the scope of: a) aesthetic and artistic solutions; b) narrative ideas of multimedia content; 6) Additional requirements regarding the manner of executing the exhibition: a) The materials used for the production of scenographic elements will be materials that are 100% recyclable, i.e. from natural materials such as steel, stone, wood or glass (this applies not only to the frames that will hide the AV elements, but also to the equipment elements such as wooden seats, boxes etc.). The requirement to use natural and recyclable materials applies to the basic scenographic elements. The Organizer allows the use of synthetic and composite materials where this results from the technical documentation, durability, technological or safety of use. b) At least 30% of the materials used to build the exhibition will come from recycling. c) The wood used to create the exhibition elements must have an FSC [Forest Stewardship Council] certificate. d) At the operating stage, waste bins will be prepared for waste segregation into 5 fractions: (Blue (paper), Yellow (metals and plastics), Green (glass), Brown (bio-waste), Black (mixed waste). e) Universal design solutions should be taken into account, in accordance with Article 6 of the Act on ensuring accessibility to persons with special needs of 19 July 2019. f) Light sources in class D. g) Lighting controlled by the DALI system. h) All multimedia devices used will have standby functions, which significantly reduces power consumption during periods of inactivity. i) It is important that the interiors of the tower, along with all the equipment, refer to patterns drawn from local traditions - while being a modern reinterpretation of them. j) All materials prepared by the Contractor, and in particular: texts, voice recordings, descriptions, graphics, films must be translated into Slovak and English. k) The Organizer provides access to electricity and the Internet (connection points). It is the Contractor's obligation to distribute media to individual sections of the exhibition on all floors. l) The Contractor is obliged to distribute media from the connection points (electricity and Internet) to individual sections of the exhibition on all floors in an aesthetic and consistent manner with the exhibition arrangement. 7) Participants should familiarize themselves with the technical documentation of the exhibition on their own to prepare the Competition Work in accordance with the guidelines contained therein. 8) The technical documentation of the entire exhibition is Annex No. 1 to the Competition Regulations. 9) The Purchaser also attaches a set of scenographic drawings, a set of floor plans, a description of device parameters, audio guides, resource specification - Annex No. 1 to the Competition Regulations (due to technical limitations regarding the possibility of using signs, a detailed description is included in the annexes to this announcement).
