The contracting authority aims to contract a contractor to provide expert maintenance of all paved surfaces under the municipality of Gouda's management. Additionally, the provision of several other services, such as setting up and maintaining a duty service, maintaining street furniture, and handling reports, is part of the contract to be awarded. The municipality's aim is to delegate as many tasks as possible to the Contractor, with a good balance between the municipality taking the initiative and maintaining oversight. The Contract involves carrying out daily and major maintenance of paved and semi-paved surfaces and street furniture within the municipality of Gouda, including at least: • Emergency repairs following urgent reports; • Scheduled repairs following reports; • Groundwork for maintenance work; • Drainage work for maintenance work; • Daily maintenance of paved and semi-paved surfaces (< 200 m2 per section/road section); • Major maintenance of paved and semi-paved surfaces (> 200 m2 per section/road section); • Minor adjustments, changes, and reconstructions of public spaces; • Repair and occasional replacement of street furniture and road markings; • Drawing up traffic management plans for implementation work; • Implementing measures to ensure accessibility. Additionally, providing a duty service, handling reports, and obtaining the necessary permits for own work are part of the Contract. The area of paved surfaces to be maintained amounts to approximately 1.8 million m2 of paved surfaces and approximately 52,000 m2 of semi-paved roads.
