Hamburg Energienetze GmbH, with approximately 2,500 employees, is tendering for a current analysis, target concept and implementation of job evaluation and the possible introduction of an IT tool as a SaaS solution. The background is a historically grown, heterogeneous job evaluation landscape with approx. 670 positions, different evaluation systems and predominantly manual, Excel-based processes. The service provider is to develop a uniform, transparent, non-discriminatory and legally compliant job evaluation system that meets collective bargaining, company agreement and future requirements (e.g. Pay Transparency Directive). The evaluation project requires, among other things, a current analysis, conception of the new system, involvement of all stakeholders (management, co-determination, trade unions) and support of the negotiations up to a new set of rules. In the implementation project, a communication strategy, training, evaluation of all approx. 670 positions, creation of an integrated job framework and remuneration system, as well as a concept for ongoing maintenance and re-evaluation are to be implemented. For the IT tool, setup, integration into the system landscape, operation, support, data backup, logging, deletion and return concepts as well as compliance with extensive information security and data protection requirements with hosting in the EU are required.
