Belgium – Laboratory, optical and precision equipments (excl. glasses) – MALDI-TOF analyzer

The clinical laboratory of VITAZ vzw wishes to renew, through this public contract, the current equipment for the application “Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time-of-Flight (MALDI-TOF) Mass Spectrometry”, with a view to ensuring rapid and accurate identification of (myco)bacteria, yeasts, and molds from cultures of various clinical, human samples. The purchase of the equipment includes delivery, installation, commissioning, validation, and training for the operators. In addition to the purchase of the equipment, the contract involves concluding a framework agreement for the supply of consumables and reagents bound to the estimated economic life of the equipment. The contracting authority wishes to conclude an "all-in" service and maintenance contract for the equipment after the warranty period, extendable for the duration that the equipment is in use with the contracting authority.
