The municipal association of Diez is awarding the planning and construction supervision services for the new construction of a daycare centre in Holzappel on behalf of the municipalities of Holzappel, Laurenburg and Scheidt. The new construction is to create a total of approximately 100 daycare places for 5 groups, specifically approximately 8-10 places for children under 2 years (U2) and approximately 90-92 places for children over 2 years (Ü2). A plot of land with a total area of 4,923 m² in the municipality of Holzappel, cadastral area 12, parcel 56, is planned for the new construction. Currently, the plot is a meadow. The land-use plan required for the implementation of the project is being prepared. Prior to the tender, the contracting authority had a feasibility study carried out. This is part of the tender documents. Two variants of the implementation are shown, namely with a single-storey and with a two-storey building and in each case a usable area of 925 m². The contracting authority has decided on the implementation in one storey without a basement. The preferred method of construction is in wood, hybrid wood or modular wood construction. The contracting authority is to be advised on the economical implementation. The construction of the daycare centre according to the so-called partially open concept of the contracting authority is planned. The pedagogical concept of the daycare centre Holzappel is part of the tender documents and must be taken into account in the planning. The planning is to be carried out immediately and promptly after the order has been placed. The cost estimate of the performance phase 3 according to DIN 276 must be carried out in good time so that the application for funding can be submitted on time by 20.06.2026. The implementation of the project is planned from the end of 2026 to the beginning of 2028.
