Belgium – Imaging equipment for medical, dental and veterinary use – Dossier Medische Beeldvorming

The new hospital of AZ Jan Portaels is currently under full construction, with delivery and move-in scheduled for 2027. Candidates in this tender must take into account delivery and installation in the new hospital on the Salyx site, a former industrial area behind the station in Vilvoorde. Several medical imaging devices will not be moved to the new building due to the age of these devices: MRI, CT, SPECT CT, Digital Mammography, RX room, Mobile RX. To facilitate this transition, we wish to have the possibility to finance, on the one hand, via a leasing formula for a period of 5-9 years, in which the new developments are automatically integrated without being disruptive to the investment approach. On the other hand, the possibility is requested to offer a financing formula via a variant based on activity data 'as-a-service'. Furthermore, we wish to have the possibility to start repaying only when we generate income. As a 'Hospital of the future', AZ Jan Portaels wants to retain with this dossier the continuous possibility to keep the medical imaging devices up-to-date with the latest technical and technological developments, research, modernization, without the general operation of the hospital and the medical imaging service being hindered thereby. This possibility will ensure that the medical imaging service steps into a 'future-proof' story that will lead to continuous innovation as an 'early adopter'. For this reason, the technical specifications of all required equipment will not be detailed, but we expect the candidate's expertise to offer the right device for our 'Hospital of the future' as a regional hospital. To this end, activity data will be provided and research that we wish to conduct. At least the following elements are included in this contract: - Registration of the devices - Delivery and installation of the devices - Connection and testing of the devices - Device-specific adaptation works - Maintenance of the devices - All necessary training - Full DICOM, RIS/PACS(OnWeb)-compatibility and digital throughput from and to EPD.
