The Wirtschaftsbetrieb Mainz AöR (short: WBM) intends to construct a storage building and extend an underground energy canal on the site of the central sewage treatment plant. Supply structures are available and must still be routed to the construction site; these are particularly electricity supply, IT, heat, drinking water and wastewater disposal. For this purpose, an already existing underground supply canal will be extended into the area of the storage hall. Existing supply lines in the construction site must be relocated. A building permit for the storage building (without the energy canal) is already available. In this context, essentially only documents for the building design have been processed; the topics of structural design and technical equipment have so far only been outlined. The required planning services will be tendered in the three aforementioned lots. Further description will be provided under section 5.1.
