The Stadtwerke Verkehrsgesellschaft Wilhelmshaven GmbH, hereinafter referred to as SWWV, is the operator of the inner-city public transport (ÖPNV) in the independent city of Wilhelmshaven. It operates a bus depot. The infrastructure available here is to be converted for the operation of electric buses. In the first step, the operation of 8 emission-free buses is planned. An energy centre has been developed, which includes two transformers and the NSHV, which will supply the LIS in the future. All electrical energy is provided by a medium-voltage connection via a remote MS transfer station by the EVU. The entire LIS is supplied with energy via the MS transfer station. To possibly install one or more additional transformer stations on the site of the bus depot at a later date, the transfer station is equipped with two outlet fields, to which the transformers are directly connected.
