Germany – Contractor's all-risk insurance services – Projektversicherung Neubau ESTW Wernberg

The DB InfraGO AG plans the new construction of the ESTW Wernberg. This includes, among other things, equipping the Bf. Wernberg with signals from the Ks signalling system and the erection of two block signals each in the main track between Weiden and Wernberg. Furthermore, the renewal of the BÜSA of the BÜ 60.7, BÜ km 65.7 and BÜ 66.7 incl. necessary road and cable construction was required. Additionally, the dismantling of track 4 and 5 as well as the points 4, 5, 9 and 14 in the Bf. Wernberg, the new alignment of track 3 and the adaptation of the alignment of the passing track in the Bf. Wernberg, the modification of 2 civil engineering structures (EKrG) in Wernberg, the additional block compression between Nabburg and Wernberg. The investment sum for this project is estimated at EUR 86,835 million. Of this, approximately EUR 5,438 million has already been settled via an existing contract. The newly tendered insurance contract will replace the existing contract. A construction period until 31.07.2029 is currently planned. The insurance contract will commence after the completion of the tendering process with the date of the award following a currently existing preliminary cover. (Type M) In the liability insurance, the cover amount per claim is EUR 25,000,000 in total for personal, property and financial losses, including the benefits from the environmental liability insurance. In the planning liability insurance, a separate cover amount of EUR 10,000,000 per claim is available in total for property and financial losses. The aforementioned sums are tripled. The Extended Maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part amounts to 42 months. The subsequent liability in the liability insurance is 10 years, in the environmental liability and environmental damage insurance 5 years. The general deductible is at least EUR 25,000. The deductible is waived for personal injuries. In the planning liability insurance, the extended planning cover is included. As part of the extended planning cover, the deductible is EUR 100,000.
