Hospital Geel acts as a purchasing centre for this contract, in accordance with article 47 §2 and article 129 of the law of 17 June 2016. This means that Hospital Geel will act on behalf of the various contracting authorities for this contract, in the capacity of contracting authority. The purchasing centre will apply the procedure for public contracts according to the instructions and on behalf and for the account of the contracting authorities involved. After the procedure, the purchasing centre will award the public contract if consensus is reached by the contracting authorities. After the award, the contracting authorities themselves must conclude a contract with the contractor to whom the public contract was awarded. The purchasing centre is responsible for the placement and conclusion of the current contract in order to meet its own needs as well as those of other contracting authorities listed below: The following entities are potential recipients of the present contract for supplies: - Hospital Geel - Hospital Mol - Hospital Turnhout - Hospital Herentals - Hospital Rivierenland - AZ Monica In the event, the orders will be placed directly by these recipients with the suppliers. Once one of the recipients has placed an order, that recipient is also responsible for the management and supervision of the contract (in the sense of article 1 of the general terms and conditions) and the general follow-up of the order and further application of the specifications and the general and special terms and conditions. The delivery and invoicing also takes place directly to these recipients. The necessary information will be passed on to the supplier in due course. The hospital acting as a purchasing centre is in no way responsible for the content and handling of the orders of the other recipients. The head of the purchasing centre is the contact person for all important correspondence regarding the progress of the procedure. The lots can be extended twice.
