Belgium – Sewage work – Perwez - Extension, mise au tertiaire et rénovation de la station d'épuration de Perwez

The present contract concerns the EXTENSION, TERTIARIZATION AND RENOVATION OF THE PERWEZ WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT. The work involves carrying out civil engineering, demolition, electromechanical, electrical, automation and supervision tasks for the extension, tertiarization and renovation of the treatment plant, in accordance with the documents and specifications of the present special technical specifications. The plant must be able to treat, biologically, pollution of domestic origin equivalent to 7,000 PE, at 180 L/PE.d, considering the COD at 120 g/PE.d and the TSS at 120 g/PE.d. The purification process chosen for the water treatment line is activated sludge. The new treatment standards imposed are set out in the technical clauses of the present technical specifications. The present contract includes: • The construction of a new water treatment line covering the 7,000 PE; • The construction of a sludge treatment line; • The construction of a new technical and administrative building; • The demolition of the old water treatment line, including the old EM equipment; • The demolition of the old technical and administrative building; • The transitional measures and temporary equipment to keep the plant operational during the works. The present dossier concerns the general method of implementation of the installation, it being understood that the technical studies of the equipment as well as the stability studies will be provided by the tenderer. The plans and documents to be provided are defined in the clauses. With the volumes and dimensional conditions prescribed by the special technical specifications, the tenderer undertakes, by implementing the process in the general sense (construction, water line, automation, adjustment), to guarantee the required performance for treatment.
