Improvement of Airport Tunnel B312

The FSG is the operator of the Airport Tunnel B312 between Filderstadt-Bernhausen and Plieningen. The road authority is the LRA Esslingen. During the investigations, it was determined that the tunnel has outdated and partly non-RABT- or EABT-80/100-compliant structural and operational equipment. To reduce the risk expectation value to the required level, extensive renovation and improvement measures in the area of the electromechanical tunnel equipment and the retrofitting of a fire-fighting system are to be carried out. For the storage of extinguishing water and the accommodation of the pump systems, a so-called pump house, consisting of a pump room and an extinguishing water basin, will be constructed. In the area of the tunnel portals, structural measures for barrier systems, height controls, traffic signs, etc. are planned. The overall measure is divided into the following 5 lots:

Lot 1: Electrical engineering BTA

Lot 2: Fire-fighting system (HDWNA)

Lot 3: Structural measures

Lot 4: Renovation of fire protection plaster on tunnel ceiling

Lot 5: New construction of pump house (extinguishing water basin and pump room)
