Belgium – Storage and warehousing services – Aanstelling van een dienstverlener voor de opslag van werken van de KANAL-collectie

Type of contract: The present contract is a services contract within the meaning of Article 2, 21°, of the Law of 17 June 2016 on public procurement. Object of the services: Appointment of a service provider for the storage of the works of the KANAL Collection. Comment: The present contract aims to appoint a service provider to provide the contracting authority with storage spaces suitable for the storage of works of art. The KANAL Foundation indeed has its own Collection, which currently comprises more than a hundred works. Each year, the Acquisition Committee of the KANAL Foundation meets to select the new pieces intended to enrich it. In this context, the Foundation's storage space needs are expected to increase progressively over the years. The contract is not limited to the strict rental of spaces for the storage of works of art but includes all the services described in Section III of the present tender documents, which are inseparable from the provision of the spaces.
