Germany – Systems and technical consultancy services – Nutzerzentrierte Innovations- und Konzeptionsleistungen zur barrierefreien Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung der CUSTOM-App

The subject of the procurement is the conception, implementation, and evaluation of a user-centred innovation process for the barrier-free optimisation and further development of the CUSTOM-App as part of the European funding project "EUI03-134-CUSTOM" of the European Urban Initiative (EUI) in eight work packages. The CUSTOM-App is a barrier-free assistance app for public transport in the Hamburg metropolitan area, which is based on the "two-senses principle" and addresses people with visual, hearing, cognitive, and mobility impairments. The services to be provided include, in particular, the systematic identification, analysis, and validation of usage barriers and needs of relevant target groups (AP 1-3), the implementation of co-creation and design thinking processes as well as UX/UI analyses (AP 4-5), the development and user-based validation of prototypes (AP 6-7), and the creation of program-ready wireframes as a basis for subsequent technical implementation by a separately commissioned app development service provider (AP 8). Technical development, programming, or implementation services are explicitly not the subject of this procurement. The provision of services will be carried out on a project-accompanying basis in close cooperation with the contracting authority and the project partners of the consortium (Hamburger Hochbahn AG, S-Bahn Hamburg GmbH, HADAG, Technische Universität Hamburg, Dialoghaus Hamburg gGmbH). All work packages are to be carried out in a barrier-free manner, in particular with the use of sign language and written language interpretation.
