Germany – Information technology services – SAP S/4HANA Utilities Migration

The Dortmund Energy and Water Supply GmbH (DEW21) intends to migrate its existing SAP landscape to SAP S/4 HANA. The currently used billing system, SAP IS-U, is at the end of its lifecycle; the extended maintenance provided by SAP is scheduled to be discontinued in 2030. The aim of the tender is to find a suitable service provider who will ensure the successful implementation of the migration and sustainably support the modernisation of the billing system landscape. The integration partner will provide all the project services required for the introduction of the target platform. The goal is the successful implementation of the project in terms of subject matter, technology, schedule, and organisation, including the orderly handover to regular operation. The solution must fully support the billing of all essential supply types – electricity, gas, and water. The start of the migration is planned for the first half of 2027.
