Belgium – Software package and information systems – Raamovereenkomst met één deelnemer voor het leveren van software voor application delivery
Description
The ICT department of AP Hogeschool is looking for a supplier that can provide a platform for central application delivery, where applications can be centrally installed and managed, and this is not necessary on individual devices of employees and/or students. The applications must be made available to approximately 250 end-users via the platform. Additionally, these licenses can be extended to 750 licenses during periodic peak loads. The solution must at least meet the following requirements:
• Management Console: Provision of a single central management console for configuration, session management, monitoring, and reporting.
• Authentication: Seamless integration with Microsoft Active Directory and full support for Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multifactor Authentication (MFA).
• Access Methods and Compatibility: Access to the published resources (applications/desktops) must be possible via both dedicated client software and an HTML5-compatible web browser (clientless). Both access methods must be platform-independent and support the following operating systems: Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, Android, and ChromeOS.
• Publication: Support for the publication of individual applications and/or full desktops, originating from Remote Desktop Session Host (RDSH) servers, with built-in functionality for load balancing across multiple hosts.
• External Access: Support for secure external access without the need for complex, additional configurations or extra license or infrastructure costs. The architecture and implementation mechanisms of the solution must meet the following requirements:
• Hypervisor Integration: The solution must be able to handle the orchestration and management of virtual machines (VMs) with integration and full compatibility for the following hypervisors: XCP-ng and/or Hyper-V.
• Single-Image Provisioning Technology: The solution must provide a robust deployment mechanism (Provisioning) that allows for the rolling out of non-persistent or ephemeral virtual machines based on a single-image concept (such as Linked-Clones, OS-streaming, or Template Copying) to avoid configuration drift within server groups.
• User Portal: A specific portal or console to support the service desk for efficient session management (e.g., ending sessions, shadowing, etc.).
• Secure External Access:
o The display protocol for the external connection must be tunneled via an SSL/TLS connection.
o Support for authentication via SAML and MFA.
• Monitoring & Reporting: The solution must have a graphical interface that allows for real-time monitoring of the following resources per host, per VM, and per pool: memory usage (Memory), CPU usage, Disk I/O, and network traffic.
