The RDW is conducting a European procurement for the realisation and delivery of the Digital Road Map Exemptions (DWO). With this contract, the RDW realises a future-proof, data-driven solution to support its mission to guarantee safety, sustainability and legal certainty for road users and society. The solution to be realised provides: support for route planning by clients, taking into account applicable restrictions; facilitation of assessment by RDW staff based on current and reliable data; support for decision-making in cooperation with road authorities, focused on traffic safety, flow, protection of infrastructure and a level playing field. The solution must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and ensures the continuity of the RDW's primary processes. The current digital road map is accessible via: https://dwo.rdw.nl/ The Contract/Agreement includes, in outline: - the delivery, implementation and maintenance of an integral SaaS solution for the Digital Road Map Exemptions (DWO), including hosting, technical management, maintenance and service levels; - the realisation and guarantee of integration with the existing RDW application landscape; migration and implementation of the solution; - further development of the solution during the term; delivery of related services, including consultancy, training and support; - participation in periodic consultations (strategic, tactical and operational).
