Description

The current school building of the Prinses Beatrixschool in Heemstede is technically and functionally outdated. Therefore, the municipality of Heemstede intends to realize replacement accommodation for the primary school. It will be a school for 290 pupils. The new accommodation will be an attractive and gas-free building. The programme comprises approximately 1,670 m2 bvo. On the plot, there is an existing building to be retained, Les Petits Kinderopvang, which offers childcare and BSO. This building is outside the scope of the Contract but will be physically connected to the new construction. BSO (approximately 2 groups) will also be offered in dual use in the new building. Stichting TWijs is the Contracting Authority and Contracting Entity for this Contract. The replacement new construction will be realized on the current location of the school at Von Brücken Focklaan 2 in Heemstede. The current school building must be demolished (by the contractor resulting from this Tender). See also the selection guide. Approximately 1,655 m2 bvo of the existing building must be demolished, with the exception of the current playroom floor and structure. The childcare (located underneath) is outside the scope of the Contract and must be retained. The new building has a preliminary gross floor area of approximately 1,670 m2 and 2 storeys and includes the following programme: • Prinses Beatrixschool with 12 group rooms and 290 pupils • Les Petits out-of-school care with a maximum of 2 groups in dual use.
