Germany – Refuse and waste related services – 2026-0553: Verwertung von Bioabfällen (AVV 200301)

The municipal utility company Wirtschaftsbetriebe Duisburg - AöR, as a public law waste management company, collects bio-waste in the city area of Duisburg via the bio-waste bin. The bio-waste collected by Wirtschaftsbetriebe Duisburg - AöR is to be subsequently subjected to proper treatment (composting, fermentation or a combination of both methods) in an authorised and state-of-the-art facility. The subsequent marketing of the products generated as part of the bio-waste treatment is also the subject of the contract and is thus the responsibility of the contractor. The bio-waste collected by WBD-AöR will be made available to the contractor at a transfer point to be specified by them. This transfer point specified by the contractor must be within a radius of 25 km from the DU-Hochfeld site, Zur Kupferhütte 10, 47053 Duisburg. Collection takes place on weekdays from Monday to Saturday. The tender refers to a main performance period from 01.01.2027 - 31.12.2029 (36 months). Furthermore, a unilateral contract extension option of 24 months (01.01.2030- 31.12.2031) is to be taken into account for the contracting authority. The following quantities are expected during the performance period from 01.01.2027 - 31.12.2029 (36 months) (extension option from 01.01.2030- 31.12.2031): - 2027-2029 (AVV 200301): approx. 4,800 t - 2030-2031 (AVV 200301): approx. 3,200 t. The quantity data, average values from the last few years, serve only as a calculation aid and are not binding figures that are guaranteed for the future. In addition, there are seasonal fluctuations in the quantities. Changes in the quantity specification in the range of +/- 20% are to be taken into account by the bidder as part of the pricing and do not result in a change in the offered conditions.
