Germany – Engineering works and construction works – Neubau Polderwand Lübecker Ufer

Construction of a polder dyke approximately 470 m in length, including gates and a new inlet structure, including a combined sluice/pump shaft. As well as partial backfilling of the inclined plane of the Helgens and creation of a new riverbank. The Hamburg Port Authority intends to renovate the site at the Lübeck Ufer. For this purpose, the flood-protected area is to be expanded. In addition, the polder dyke in this area is to be designed for the new design water levels of NHN +8.10 m plus freeboard. The measure includes the following services: 3PO – Construction of a polder dyke approximately 470 m in length, including: - 6 flood defence gates, - a new inlet structure including a combined sluice/pump shaft and pipeline crossing DN700, and - 2 pipeline crossings each with 4 x DN 150 to 200 through sheet piling or reinforced concrete wall. 4HE – Partial backfilling of the inclined plane of the Helgens and creation of a new riverbank. // Note: The planning permission for the construction project is not yet fully available and will be finalised before the submission. The award of the contract is subject to the planning permission granted.
