France – Magnetic tapes – Fourniture de cartouches magnétiques et de cartouches de nettoyage

The magnetic cartridges and cleaning cartridges must be storable and manageable in the automated tape libraries installed at the IN2P3/CNRS Computing Centre (manufacturers HPE, IBM and Spectra Logic). The cartridges will be delivered labelled with an 8-character standard label and an associated barcode which will be specified with each order. The manufacture and application of the labels are the responsibility of the contractor and are an integral part of the price of the supplies. The requirements are as follows:

LTO Ultrium Family

• LTO9 data cartridges, with a nominal capacity of 18 TB uncompressed per cartridge, with barcode labels.

• LTO10 data cartridges with a nominal capacity of 30 TB uncompressed per cartridge, with barcode labels,

• Universal LTO cleaning cartridges for LTO cartridge drives with barcode labels.

LTO Ultrium Family (Strontium Ferrite technology)

• LIBRARYPACK of 20 units of LTO10 SrFe data cartridges with a nominal capacity of 30 TB uncompressed per cartridge, with barcode labels

• LIBRARYPACK of 20 units of LTO10 SrFe (40 TB) data cartridges with a nominal capacity of 40 TB uncompressed per cartridge, with barcode labels

IBM 3592 Family

• IBM 3592 JE data cartridges (20 TB capacity per cartridge uncompressed), for Spectra Logic tape library grouped in TERAPACK of 9 certified units with barcode labels.

• IBM 3592 cleaning cartridges for Spectra Logic tape library grouped in TERAPACK of 9 units, with barcode labels.
