DB InfraGO AG plans to renew the railway bridge over the Hunte between the municipalities of Berne and Elsfleth. The investment sum for this project is estimated at EUR 248 million. Of this, approximately EUR 38 million has already been settled through an existing contract. The newly tendered insurance contract will replace the existing contract. A construction period until 30.11.2028 is currently planned. The insurance contract will commence after the completion of the tendering procedure with the date of the award following a currently existing preliminary cover. (Type M) The insurance cover in the liability insurance amounts to EUR 25,000,000 per claim for personal, property, and financial losses, including the benefits from the environmental liability insurance. In the planning liability insurance, a separate insurance cover of EUR 10,000,000 per claim for property and financial losses is available. The aforementioned sums are tripled. The Extended Maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part amounts to 42 months. The subsequent liability in the liability insurance amounts to 10 years, in the environmental liability and environmental damage insurance 5 years. The general deductible amounts to at least EUR 25,000. The deductible is waived for personal injuries. The extended planning cover is included in the planning liability insurance. The deductible in the extended planning cover amounts to EUR 100,000.
