The Bullenbruch pumping station is being refurbished to increase the pumping capacity from 4 m³/s to 6 m³/s and to optimise ecological continuity. To increase the pumping capacity, the pumping technology, including the power supply, will be completely replaced. The optimisation of ecological continuity for fish passage will be achieved through fish-friendly pumping technology. The planning includes civil engineering, all technical equipment, and maintenance work on the listed heritage structure.
