Switzerland – Occupational clothing – Dienstkleider und Wäscheservice TBA ZH

The Road Construction Office of the Canton of Zurich employs around 500 staff. The majority of the staff (420 employees) work in the public road space and are therefore subject to the Traffic Regulations and are required to wear work clothing in accordance with EN ISO 20471. Thus, the TBA ZH is evaluating a company with the present invitation to tender to conclude a framework agreement for the procurement of work clothing including laundry service. The framework agreement includes the delivery of the stock inventory as an annual lot, the reordering of stock in subsequent years, stock management and the laundry service. The laundry service includes the collection and delivery service, the cleaning and the repair of the clothing. The supplier is required to take over the existing clothing collection of the TBA ZH (including stock) and integrate it into its laundry logistics. The recoding (relabelling) to the coding system of the contractor is at the expense of the client according to a fixed allowance.
