The existing fire station at its current location no longer meets many of today's requirements for functionality and operational procedures. The building is aging and offers only limited possibilities for a modern fire service operation and future developments. Against this background, the city plans to build a modern fire station in a central location within the city area. The aim is to create a modern, future-proof and functional fire station that meets the requirements of the operational service as well as its importance as a key part of the public infrastructure. The VgV procedure with solution approaches is intended to produce innovative and sustainable solutions that functionally and convincingly integrate the new location into the environment. The construction costs are estimated at approximately 3,2 million euros net (cost categories 300 and 400). For the architectural services of the project "New Fire Station Geislingen", the city of Geislingen is now looking for a suitable office within the framework of a VgV procedure.
