The RhB continuously renews and modernises its rail network. To enable these works to be carried out in a bundled manner, individual sections of the line are completely closed. Passenger transport is carried out by means of replacement services during these closures. The contractor sets up and operates the rail replacement services according to the timetable. The contract ends with the completion of the construction sites that make the replacement traffic necessary. The following dates are expected: - Lot 1: Zernez – Samedan (– St. Moritz): 15.05.2027 - Lot 2: Pontresina – Tirano: 26.11.2027 - Lot 3: Chur – Disentis/Mustér: 25.05.2028 - Lot 4: Chur – Untervaz-Trimmis: 25.10.2027 If delays occur in the construction work, the rail replacement service must be continued until the line is released for rail traffic.
