BGZ Gesellschaft für Zwischenlagerung mbHGermanyPublished on May 12, 2026
No deadline given

Description

Delivery, implementation and customization of a transport management system including maintenance and support services. A suitable transport management system (TMS) is to be procured and integrated into the BGZ's office IT. The BGZ is the operator of interim storage facilities (ZL) for radioactive waste at various locations in Germany. In addition, the BGZ is also responsible, among other things, for the transport of low- and medium-level radioactive waste (LAW/MAW). Waste packages are transported from the ZL to the Konrad repository (ELK) using special equipment (custom-made transport containers, swap pallets, etc.). In addition, so-called transfer trips between the ZL are necessary to prepare the waste packages for final disposal. This can be done by road and rail, as well as in combined transport. To independently plan, control and document the transports optimally, the BGZ needs a transport management system (TMS) that meets the special requirements for transporting goods in Class 7 dangerous goods.
