The subject of the procurement is Dental Supplies and Materials for the Dental Clinics of the Prison Health Care (VTH) and the Vanhan Vaasan Hospital (VVS) as well as for the Forensic Medicine Unit of the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). The Prison Health Care Unit acts as the publisher of the joint procurement tender. The procurement is divided into six (6) sub-areas:

2. Root Canal Treatment

3. Restorative Dentistry Supplies

4. Protection

5. Prevention, Impression Materials and Supplies, Imaging

6. Instrument Care

A more detailed list of products and requirements for each sub-area is included in the tender's price annexes 1-6 (product baskets). The bidder may offer one or more sub-areas (product baskets). Based on the tender competition, a framework agreement will be formed between the selected suppliers. The duration of the framework agreement is 24 months. After this, the buyer has the possibility to extend the agreement with two (2) consecutive one (1) year option periods. The estimated value of the procurement is approximately 260 000 euros (VAT 0%). The estimated value is calculated based on the estimated costs of the procurement for four (4) years. The contract does not include a minimum purchase obligation.
