At Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Kleve campus, there have been increased instances of leakage in the wastewater system. To assess the damage, camera inspections were carried out in some areas and several defects were identified. The following measures have been derived: In buildings 04, 05, and 06, the WC facilities must be renewed, as well as the wastewater pipes of the laboratory sinks replaced. In these areas, walls and ceilings must be demolished to create space for installation. After installation, the WC facilities must be reinstated. Furthermore, the walls and floors that were damaged as a result of the water damage must also be restored. It must be investigated that the pre-walls are non-destructively demountable, so that future leaks and defects can be repaired non-destructively. Several variants are to be presented as part of LP02.
