Netherlands – Interpretation services – Tolkdiensten

To strengthen the operational capacity of the ILT, the procurement of interpreting services is being centralised with one contracted party. ILT staff regularly come into contact with non-Dutch speaking parties during their task execution, where accurate communication is crucial for lawful enforcement. The current contract for interpreting services expires on 31 December 2026. This descriptive document lays the foundation for a clear market approach, with which the ILT selects one reliable partner for all ad hoc and planned interpreting needs from 1 January 2027. The scope of this tender includes the provision of all necessary oral, audiovisual and physical interpreting services for the ILT. The contract includes the coordination, logistics and actual execution of interpreting services in all required (common and rare) languages. Within the scope of the contract to be concluded, a distinction is made between two forms of service provision, namely: 1. ad hoc interpreting services; 2. planned interpreting services. The volume will be around 104,000 euros per year.
