No deadline given

Description

The city of Haldensleben is conducting a design contest for the planning of the new construction of the "Max und Moritz" day care centre, including the redesign of the outdoor facilities. The task also includes the demolition of the existing building. The reason for the competition is the need for renovation of the existing building. The project is scheduled to be implemented in the municipal budget for the years 2029 - 2031 and is to be financed through funds from the urban development programme "Social Cohesion". The three-storey existing building was erected in 1985 in large-panel construction ("Plattenbau") as a residential building of the type WBS70 and is fully underground. The elevated ground floor is only accessible via external stairs, which significantly impairs accessibility. The structural distribution of the day care centre (Kita) over three floors impairs day-to-day operations. A temporary move of the Kita during the construction phase is not feasible due to lack of capacity. Therefore, the demolition of the existing building is to take place only after completion of the new building. For the construction phase, an interim solution is to be provided in the plans to enable an orderly move without restrictions for the Kita operation. No subsequent use of the existing building is planned. As part of the competition, the new construction of a day care centre including a nursery for 160 children and 27 staff is to be planned. Construction costs (cost group 300 + 400 according to DIN 276) of a maximum of 6,800,000.00 € gross are assumed for the project. The subject of the competition is the new construction of a day care centre. The competition will be conducted as a non-open, single-phase architectural design contest according to RPW 2013 with subsequent negotiation procedure according to § 14 Abs. 4 Nr. 8 VgV. To find an appropriate solution, a competition with 12 participants according to RPW 2013 with subsequent negotiation procedure (according to § 14 Abs. 4 Pkt. 8 VgV) is planned. The design contest is aimed at architects and planning offices that employ architects.
